BioElaire is a Play-by-Post PRG game played via on Livejournal. The ST posts the current scene and all characters may interact in the replies accordingly. The following day the results of the posts are worked into the next scene. The game is not played linearly, but takes as long as it takes to go through game play. Replies by characters can be as numerous or as few as desired.
Elaire is a laid back game where characters have free will within the limits of their character concepts, and the laws of logic (a little magic) and imagination are all that confine the possibilities.
Elaire is city submerged in water. The major streets are canals with smaller alleys built of wooden planks ectending from door frame to door frame and replaced seasonally. Pirates and the Guildhalls control the waterways and the artisanship of the city. Merchants abound and grow rich controlling merchant trade routes from the ports inland to criss-cross the fertile pastoral landscape beyond the city. And the uppercrust sits in their halls and look out their windows not understanding what is happening.
What is happening is that slowly art has begun to trickle back into the city. More artists are moving in and training. The guilds are expanding at a growing rate, as are the exportable aesthetic items. The black market is surging prosperously and the merchant's lust for pretty things and ostentatiously displays of wealth is growing in lusty bounds.

To become a character in Elaire, post a character concept and your email address on any of the initial Elaire posts. They will be viewable by the ST only, who will then contact you. We are always looking for more players to make the world a rich and vibrant place.
